ARTICLE 1 – Every guest, by contracting the accommodation and services of the Ocean Maya Royale hotel, accepts and is subject to these regulations, considering them as the service contract that must be fulfilled.

ARTICLE 2 – Every guest must fill out and sign the registration card and keep the provided wristband-key tied to the wrist at all times. A charge of $1,000.00 MXN, or its equivalent in USD, will be applied in case of loss.

ARTICLE 3 – By governmental provision, an environmental tax per night must be paid for the execution of environmental sanitation works within the municipality of Playa del Carmen.

ARTICLE 4 – Ocean Maya Royale is against child sex tourism. Any person detected practicing this will be subject to the country's law and immediately handed over to the competent authorities.

ARTICLE 5 – No pets of any kind are allowed. Only guide dogs are permitted with management authorization and prior request.

ARTICLE 6 – In case of detecting any damage to the furniture and/or accessories of the room and/or public areas of the hotel, the cost of repair, cleaning, or replacement will be charged.

ARTICLE 7 – Each room has a safe that guests can use for free. The hotel will not be responsible for the loss or theft of valuables not stored therein.

ARTICLE 8 – Any external visit must be communicated in advance to Reception. Visitors must leave within 30 minutes and may only remain in the lobby. Providing accommodation to unregistered persons is prohibited.

ARTICLE 9 – Management reserves the right to evict any guest whose behavior violates morality, decorum, and good customs or disturbs other guests.

ARTICLE 10 – To preserve exclusivity, guests must dress according to the dress code. Entering restaurants in wet clothing or taking food or drinks out of them is not allowed.

ARTICLE 11 – For any comments, complaints, or service requests, guests can contact reception or the customer service department.

ARTICLE 12 – Check-out time is 12:00 hrs. If the guest does not vacate the room by this time, an automatic charge will be applied for each extra hour.

ARTICLE 13 – Guests must return the wristband (key) upon check-out, or a charge of $1,000.00 MXN, or its equivalent in USD, will be applied.

ARTICLE 14 – Accommodation must be paid in advance or upon arrival. The hotel reserves the right of admission.

ARTICLE 15 – Personal checks are not accepted. The acceptance of credit cards is limited to those advertised as valid by the administration.

ARTICLE 16 – The use of electric irons or other electrical appliances will be under the guest's responsibility.

ARTICLE 17 – Shops and agencies within the property are independent concessions; the hotel is not responsible for their transactions.

ARTICLE 18 – Every guest must leave doors and water taps closed when leaving the room. The hotel is not responsible for events caused by omitting this recommendation.

ARTICLE 19 – It is not allowed to hang clothes or towels on the room's railing or take hotel belongings off the property.

ARTICLE 20 – Pools are exclusive for guests. Swimsuit use is mandatory, and eating or drinking inside them is prohibited. If you have had stomach upset in the last 48 hours, refrain from using them.

ARTICLE 21 – It is suggested not to reserve sunbeds. Do not leave your belongings out of sight; the hotel is not responsible for losses.

ARTICLE 22 – Partial or total nudity is not allowed.

ARTICLE 23 – The environmental policy must be respected. Feeding wildlife is strictly prohibited.

ARTICLE 24 – Any person detected using illegal substances will be immediately handed over to the competent authorities.

ARTICLE 25 – The hotel has civil liability insurance; for additional information, contact Reception.

ARTICLE 26 – All rooms are NON-SMOKING. If tobacco smell or burn damage is detected, an automatic charge will be applied.

ARTICLE 27 – The Hotel is not responsible for services or purchases made to third parties (excursions, massages, or uncertified vendors).
