The skis are a type of Mexican appetizer (snacks sold on the street, very typical of Mexican culture) that is taken hot and with a spoon. It consists of boiled corn with aromatic herbs and green peppers and fried onion chopped in butter.
They are served in a glass and you can add lime and chili.
Throughout the Riviera Maya you can find food stalls in the street.
