One of the most famous dishes of Mexican cuisine in the world could not be missing in this list.
There are different taquerías on the Riviera - some of them outside the tourist areas such as the Yaxchilán Avenue in Cancun - that you will love.
The taco is basically a corn tortilla base to which meat and ingredients are added to taste, such as onion, pico de gallo (diced tomato and onion), jalapeños, habanero pepper, among others.
There are different types of tacos, but the main ones are: chicken, arrachera (veal), mixed (chicken and veal) or pastor (the most typical, with marinated pork).
I advise you to squeeze some lime on top of the tacos before eating them.
