Without a doubt, this archeological site is the main icon of the Riviera Maya.
Recognized as one of the 7 wonders of the modern world, Chichen Itza is impressive: from the Mayan pyramid itself known as "The Castle", to the Ball Game and the nearby Great Cenote.
To visit it I recommend you to go on your own and first thing in the morning, since when there are many tours on the site it is difficult to be able to appreciate the place with tranquility.
